Digital Marketing is the use of online platforms, such as social media, websites, email, and search engines to assist your business in being found by your ideal target market.
A marketing plan is a document with strategies, actions, and a budget so you have a solid plan of what needs to be done within the next year to meet your Marketing and Business goals. Each marketing plan should cover where the business is now, where you want it to be in 12 months and how you are going to get there.
Search Engine Optimisation or SEO is utilising your online content so that your website shows up for specific keywords.
Every business needs marketing. Marketing lets you reach your ideal target market, build trust through different platforms, and help push through sales.
Blogs create trust with your potential customer, people tend to trust written word more. It also shows your potential customer that you know what you are talking about and that you are up to date on your industry knowledge. Blogs also greatly increase people being able to find your website.
It can be incredibly difficult to come up with content ideas for your business, which is why we have a Free Content Ideas Downloadable on our website.
Look at your analytics, every website should have google analytics tracking so you can see where your visitors have come from, what they are doing on your site and whether they are converting. It is also worth looking at Google Page Speed insight which will tell you how well your website is performing from a more technical point of view.
Tell your story and find your unique selling point. Utilise your social media and branding to tell people what your business is, what you are all about and what you know. People buy from People so don’t be afraid to let them know about the faces behind the brand.

There are lots of different marketing strategies you can use such lead generation tools, promotional activity, PR, Direct Mail, or social media. If you are still a little unsure of how to use them for your business, then email info@ambermountain.co.uk to set up a free power hour.

Social Media is all about consistency and the 70/30 rule. Posting at least 5 times a week with relevant and relatable content will help engage your audience, along with 70% useful informative content and 30% selling content. Social Media is not always all about how big of a following you have but more about how those followers engage with your brand.
Jess Bunting | Marketing Apprentice at Amber Mountain

JESS BUNTING

Marketing Apprentice

Best known for: Her obsession with the colour pink!

Jess joined AMM straight from her A-Levels as an apprentice and has never looked back! She is the baby of the office (and we love to remind her of that!!) Don’t let that fool you, though, she more than holds her own!

As our Marketing Apprentice, Jess gets stuck into absolutely everything, and she does it with the kind of energy that just makes it all more fun 🌟 She jumped straight in at the deep end and hasn’t come up for air since, and we love that about her!

Off the clock, Jess is basically living her best life at all times. You’ll find her in a pub garden soaking up the sun, on a spontaneous adventure somewhere in the world, or out on a run (can you tell we’re all into our fitness!?) 🏃‍♀️ Oh, and her pooch, Cally? Obsessed. And we get it 🐾

She is also a massive F1 fan 🏎️ McLaren and Red Bull, before you ask, and she is NOT a glory hunter!! 😂

Jess loves dancing, laughing, exploring, and just saying yes to whatever comes next. And honestly, that spirit is exactly what AMM is all about!!
