Summer Temp Position  |  6 Weeks  |  St Albans

Amber Mountain Marketing (AMM) is looking for a capable, tech-confident individual to join us for a 6-week temporary placement over the summer. This role is suited to a university student or graduate, ideally with at least a year of university study behind them, who already has real working knowledge of AI tools and wants to put that to use on live projects, alongside broad marketing support across our client accounts.

AMM is an ambitious marketing agency based in St Albans, specialising in marketing strategy and implementation for businesses. Our vision is to help every client grow through effective marketing strategies that help them reach their goals. We are currently investing in a number of AI-related projects across the agency, and we’re looking for someone who can come in and support parts of this work, not just assist with it. You should be comfortable using AI tools already and able to help us identify, test, and implement practical applications with minimal hand-holding.

Job Responsibilities

Social Media

You should hold a keen interest in social media platforms including Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Instagram. You will create content for these platforms and help develop industry-specific campaigns for our clients’ social media accounts.

Newsletters

Creating and assisting with the creation of newsletters and email content.

SEO

Ensuring that on-site content is optimised for SEO: titles, meta descriptions, and internal links.

Marketing Admin

Developing marketing materials and other collateral on a daily basis using Canva (full training given), collating data, helping maintain the marketing calendar, and supporting all marketing activities for the businesses you work with.

CRM & Database Marketing

Supporting our use of as our core CRM and marketing automation platform; helping keep client data accurate, assisting with social planner scheduling and approvals, and supporting simple automation workflows. Prior experience with CRMs is a strong advantage, but full training will be provided.

AI Projects & Implementation

Taking a leading role in our ongoing AI projects; identifying practical applications for AI within the agency, building and testing AI-assisted workflows (such as content creation, reporting, and process automation), and helping implement these directly within our tools.. You’ll be trusted to drive elements of this work forward with real ownership.

Experience Required

Desired Qualities:

• Currently studying at university, or a recent graduate, with at least one year of university study completed.
• Genuine, demonstrable knowledge of AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude) and how they can be applied practically to marketing and business tasks this isn’t an entry-level introduction to AI, we need someone who already knows their way around it.
• Confidence to take the lead on implementing AI tools and workflows with minimal supervision.
• A good understanding of social media.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A genuine interest in marketing and business.
• Experience using a CRM platform, ideally GoHighLevel (GHL), or a willingness to learn quickly.
• Ability to multi-task, work quickly, and manage a varying workload.
• Experience using Canva and/or other design packages is a plus.
