Marketing doesn’t have to be a full-time juggling act. If you’re tired of staring at blank screens, spending hours writing captions, or struggling to repurpose content, then it’s time to let AI do some of the heavy lifting. At Amber Mountain, we’ve tested a lot of AI tools, and we’re here to share the ones we actually use to make digital marketing easier and way more fun.
Here’s how to market smarter with a little help from AI!
ChatGPT for content writing
The ultimate AI wingwoman is ChatGPT. It helps us brainstorm ideas, write outlines, repurpose blogs, and speed up captions when we’re low on time or creativity.
We use it to:
- Draft social media captions
- Repurpose content for different channels
- Summarise videos or transcripts
- Inspire email subject lines
- Turn bullet points into blog intros
Top Tip: The better your prompt, the better your results. Always feed it with context!
Canva Magic Studio & Ideogram for visuals
Canva Magic Studio and Ideogam are both tools that can help you design images or graphics in seconds. We personally lean slightly more towards Canva Magic Studio as Canva is already a design favourite. You will be able to store your brand assets in one place and use them when needed in the image generation.
We use these to:
- Expand or remove background elements
- Turn text into visuals with Magic Design
- Resize and repurpose content in one click
- Generate new imagery
Top Tip: Make sure you’re clear with your aspect ratio to avoid wasting any time.
OpusClip & InVideo for video
OpusClip is a tool that can save you hours as it takes your long-form video and splits it into relevant short-form content with branded subtitles. That is time that we just don’t have! InVideo is useful if you don’t have a video to work with, as you can create video content in minutes just through a prompt.
We use them to:
- Create quick video edits
- Add dynamic subtitles (with our branding)
- Clip long-form content into short bits
- Create shorts from podcast episodes
- Create video content
Top Tip: Save your preferred subtitles on OpusClip as a preset to save time.
Notion AI for strategy
This one’s more behind-the-scenes, but so helpful when it comes to planning and organisation. Think of it as your AI-powered notebook that helps you work smarter from the start.
We use it to:
- Draft content calendars
- Organise campaign ideas
- Turn meeting notes into to-do lists
- Create briefs from brainstorms
Top Tip: Use Notion AI to turn messy brainstorming bullet points into polished content outlines or client-ready plans.
OtterAI for communication
OtterAI works in the background to record and transcribe your calls, so instead of jotting down a million notes, they’re all condensed for you. It will even give you clear actions based on the discussion in the meeting.
We use it to:
- Send follow-up meeting notes
- Get clear next steps on new client calls
- Track any important information that’s shared in a meeting
Top Tip: Only let your OtterAI join you for relevant meetings, as it will eat into your free time limit!
Find the right balance
These AI tools can definitely help you save time and get great results in your marketing. However, you have to make sure you find the right balance of getting inspiration from them rather than relying on them. Make sure you don’t lose your brand voice and values along the way.
You don’t have to do it alone
Whilst we love these platforms, they’re not always easy to get your head around. That’s where we come in. Whether you need help planning, writing, posting, or promoting your content, we’re here to bring the strategy and the sparkle.
