TikTok has a large user base with huge growth potential

TikTok has over 1 billion active users globally, and it’s continuing to grow rapidly. This large audience provides businesses with the potential to reach a vast and diverse audience. Whether you’re targeting Gen Z, Millennials, or more mature demographics, TikTok offers access to an engaged and expanding user base.

TikTok is also app that is considered easiest to go ‘viral’ on. We think every agency will agree with us when we say, it’s never ‘easy’ to go viral BUT if you’re looking to reach a lot of people quickly, TikTok could be your best option.

TikTok has high engagement rates

TikTok has managed to continuously engage its users with new and regular updates. In turn, this means TikTok users more likely to engage with content compared to users of other social media platforms. In fact, many spend hours of time on the app daily… our team included!

TikTok have managed to maintain these high engagement rates through its unique algorithm that prioritises content based on user interests, creating the For You page. This type of algorithm the chances of your content being seen by the right people. Higher engagement rates translate to better brand awareness and customer loyalty.

You can humanise your brand

TikTok is known for its authentic and creative content. Brands can showcase their personality in a fun and relatable way, which resonates well with users. Businesses often humanise their brand by getting involved in the many TikTok trends. The best part is, it’s completely accepted on TikTok. So, even if you work in a corporate industry, we bet you’ll find a competitor getting on the latest trends!

Ultimately, TikTok encourages raw, unpolished content, allowing businesses to connect with audiences on a more personal level. You’ll see that if you post heavily edited, sales focused content on TikTok it won’t perform as well as the one take wonders!

TikTok is the perfect platform for experimentation

TikTok’s playful and fast-evolving nature encourages brands to experiment with new ideas and trends. This can help you find new ways to promote your brand. Whether it’s discovering that a specific type of content performs well for your business or it’s finding out that a certain service you offer is particularly popular online. TikTok is a great place to experiment with these things.

There are endless influencer marketing opportunities

TikTok took the influencer marketing crown from Instagram and took it to new levels. Now, not only is TikTok home to a growing number of influencers but it has also birthed a new generation of content creators. In some areas influencers and content creators overlap however, the key difference is influencers tend to create content for their audience and content creators can build a platform based on creating content for other brands.

Collaborating with TikTok influencers allows businesses to tap into established communities and leverage the trust and influence these creators have built with their audiences. This can lead to more effective and authentic brand endorsements.

It offers cost-effective advertising

Compared to traditional advertising platforms, TikTok offers a cost-effective way to reach a large audience. With options like in-feed ads, branded hashtags, and challenges, businesses can create engaging ad campaigns without breaking the bank. The platform’s precise targeting also ensures that ads reach the most relevant audience.

TikTok itself is also a free app which makes a great organic marketing strategy.

TikTok is the place for User-Generated Content (UGC)

TikTok thrives on user-generated content, and businesses can encourage customers to create content around their brand. Users are often more inclined to make content for your business on TikTok compared to other platforms. UGC campaigns, such as giveaways or challenges, can drive engagement, build community, and create content that can be repurposed for your own marketing channels.

TikTok drives E-commerce and direct sales

TikTok has increasingly become a platform for driving e-commerce. With features like in-app shopping and shoppable Amazon links, businesses can leverage TikTok to not only build brand awareness but also directly drive sales. The platform’s integration with Shopify and other e-commerce tools makes it easier than ever to convert engagement into revenue.

It’s great for community building

One of TikTok’s key values is community, with niche groups and subcultures thriving on the platform. You can find yourself getting the best reading recommendations on BookTok or see the latest sports vehicles on CarTok.

Brands can tap into these communities by creating content that resonates with specific interests or values, building a loyal customer base that feels connected to the brand on a deeper level.

TikTok offers great analytics and insights

Finally, TikTok provides businesses with valuable insights and analytics to track the performance of their content. This data allows brands to understand their audience better, refine their strategies, and improve their content to ensure maximum impact. The ability to measure and adjust in real-time is crucial for successful marketing campaigns.
